Planting design

This can be a standalone service or the next stage of a garden design project.

A planting plan obviously must take account of your preferences as to colour and style but must also incorporate practical considerations such as soil conditions, orientation & shade, as well as factors such prevailing winds. The amount of time you are able  to spend on maintaining your garden is also an important factor. Whilst no garden will be completely maintenance -free, careful choice of plants can reduce the time needed to keep you garden in good order. Thinking about all these factors at the outset means you won't waste money on plants that are not suited to your garden or lifestyle.

Once the planting  scheme has been finalised, plant lists can be prepared to obtain quotations from nurseries.
